A skua flies over the icebreaker's channel. Mt. Discovery is in the background again. Skuas are the Antarctic version of seagulls - general pests that dig through the garbage despite residents best efforts at restraining them. One skua went so far as to try to eat wire strippings that we weren't watching carefully enough on the McMurdo Ice Shelf.
