An oil boom protecting the wetlands and mudflats to the right from the oil that is in the bay to the left. The statue was created from things found in the Albany Bulb landfill. A map shows the area at high tide (the whole area to the right of the peninsula is mudflat at low tide). Also note the cool refracting wave patterns.
