At the Vimarnek Palace (home...thing... I forget the name exactly) they had a show that demonstrated various types of dance from different regions of Thailand. The house in the background is the king's idea of a "typical" Thai house, but was nicer than any we saw in the countryside. The design wasn't all that different from some of the ones we saw though.
