We flew up the Ferrar Valley (which contains the Ferrar Glacier) and then came around the upper (west) end of the Kukri Hills. This shot shows the lower Taylor Glacier and the Taylor Valley beyond. There is a fresh dusting of snow on the landscape. The wind soon will pick it up and blow it all out to sea. We made our first camp at the edge of the glacier in the center right of this image.
