This is one of the weather stations that I was using. It measured in a somewhat unreliable way wind speed (see the anemometer cups), wind direction (see the wind vane), temperature (at the same height as the wind instrument hiding in the duct tape covered cup on the pole), relative humidity, and barometric pressure. The data recorder and the battery are in the plywood box. Our trusty orange snowmobile named Dr. Frankenvinny was put together from the pieces of a number of other snowmobiles by Vinny, one of the McMurdo snowmobile mechanics.
