Sunset in Antarctica is somewhat different from that in Berkeley. On this night (one of the first nights we were there) the sun was down for only a couple hours. It set behind the mountains off the right side of the picture and rose on the left side of the picture. The mountain in this picture is Mt. Discovery, named after one of Scott's ships.
