Pontresina is a nice little town, nestled in the bottom of a glacial valley. The Roseg Valley is in the distance in this picture. I stayed at one of the nicest hostels I've ever stayed in. They fed us breakfast and dinner and had a cross country ski shop in the basement too. It was just about the end of the ski season. The area is known for both its cross country skiing and its downhill skiing.
